Due to my limited availability, I am now focusing on scheduling the following types of work.
Unfortunately I am no longer accepting the following:
* COVERUPS WILL VARY. I am not taking on a lot of coverups.
If your request is not listed above please email us to inquire!
Flat Rate / $125 Hr
TYPICALLY the artwork will be drafted the Sunday prior to the scheduled week of the appointment. This makes it manageable for me and my already fully booked scheduled. It will be reviewed with you in person at the time of your tattoo appointment, not before. Minor changes up to 1 hour ( of complimentary time) can be made during your session time. If drawing exceeds 1 hour of complimetary revisions, then it is subject to be billed at $125 an hour plus may require your appointment being rescheduled.
Complex drawings or particular clients can book an in-person drawing session if needed . This needs to be discussed at the time of the consultation and is limited to only Tuesdays by availability. It is $125 an hour and will be billed at the end of your drawing session. This allows us to collectively work together and collaborate on your artwork in a more personal way for larger scaled pieces. BOTH OPTIONS WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING YOUR CONSULTATION TIME,
At the moment I am unsure, but please fill out form to be notified if you fall within the range of my style of artwork,
Currently our books are closed which means we are not taking on any new clients at this time. If you have requested to be added to our waitlist that means we will contact you if we receive a cancellation and a current client cannot fill that request. Current clients have priority on moving up in the schedule. If they are unable to do so then I will reach out to my email list and contact the best project for the timeframe available. So there’s actually no timeframe that I am able to predict until our books are reopen. we unfortunately won’t be able accommodate every request, but we do try!
I encourage all waitlist clients (because there is NO GUARANTEE of an appointment) to continue shopping around or consider waiting for our books to reopen. If you do find someone, please email us to have us remove that request off the cancellation list.
If you want to jump in front of the line you may select a Sunday or Monday tattoo appointment (minimum 2 hours) . It is priced at time and a half on non-workdays and /or holidays. This allows you a priority service based on Nicole’s availability even if books are closed, but do note a consultation will be required. Please refer to our pricing page for more information.
If this method of trying to accommodate new clients while our books are closed does not work… as people continue to be frustrated, we will unfortunately have to shut down the list.
We ask that you please come alone to your appointment for multiple reasons. Our main focus is to provide you the best artwork we possibly can and in doing so that requires our focus on you without distractions. It can be distracting for the client and as well as the artist when they bring somebody with them. Also it can make the artist nervous when somebody is standing over and watching them while they work. Or if they feel that someone else is judging their artwork while it is in progress. Other instances include when people are texting each other across the room. This is very evident to the artist (even when you think it’s not) that they do not want to talk in front of the artist for unknown reasons which can make the artist also uncomfortable. So please do not bring anybody with you. It can be distracting for the client and as well as the artist when they bring somebody with them. So please do not bring anybody with you.
due to old school standards and rules by many respected artists, I will not tattoo any face tattoos, hand tattoos, or neck tattoos without previously having sleeves and heavy upper body coverage. This is due to many factors. Some being regret, lack of information on high wear areas, and drastic changes to your appearance to name a few. Any requests without sleeves and chest will be declined.
it is almost impossible to determine how long it will take us each person‘s skin tattoos differently . Asking your artist over and over if the tattoo will get finished that day will get you nowhere and create unnecessary stress for your artist. We aim to please but within realistic perameters. Patience is a virtue when completing your custom piece and may take longer than anticipated but the end result will be worth the wait. It’s better to have a quality piece of artwork that requires 2-3 sessions (or more) than a lackluster tattoo rushed to finish so you could show it off.
If you no-call / no-show your session appointment with me, you agree and understand that your Booking fee and draw fees are forfeited and I will not rebook you in most cases.
If it was due to unforeseen circumstances please provide me a justifiable reason why. NOTE: I may require pre-payment in full for further bookings.
Can I trade or swap an appointment with my friend, spouse or family member? No! I do not trade or swap appointments with someone. They need to contact me directly to book a session formally. I have a long list of people I am trying to accommodate on a first come first serve basis. If you need to cancel, I need to schedule a person best suited for that availability. Swapping sessions is not appropriate.
***The only swapping allowed is if something has come up and you need to push your appointment out you can request me to seek out another client on my list and I will ask them if they are interested in moving up. ***
I understand that rescheduling may be necessary due to work and personal situations that may arise. Whether it be a family sickness, sickness in the household, death in the family, financial stress, or lack of child care for your session to name a few. That being said, I am totally fine with accommodating special requests however I require a minimum 72 hours notice before the appointment date to reschedule. This stands firm as many are waiting many months for their session.
*** I will only allow up to two opportunities to reschedule*** Otherwise I will require you to pay another booking fee regardless of reasoning. If you cancel or request appointment rearrangements 2 or more times you will also be placed on my next available date which may be several months out.
Currently our booking fee for hourly sessions is $75 plus tax, booking fee for day sessions is $150 plus tax. These fees may change in the future. Please refer to the website for current fee requirements.
In the event that you do not give me the appropriate amount of notice to fill the space and cancel your session in under the 72 hours minimum notice, I will require you to pay another booking fee within 48 hours to continue to retain any future appointments you may have pre-scheduled. If that booking fee has not been replenished within 48hrs once requested, I will have no choice but to cancel those future appointments made on the schedule without a second notice. If you cancel or reschedule 3 or more times, consecutively, I reserve the right to decline rebooking you in the future.
All pricing is by the hour ($175 per hour) or flat rate due at the completion of the service rendered. See our pricing page here . Be sure to inform us that if you are working with a budget that we only schedule the amount of time that you can afford. If necessary we can alter the artwork as well within reasonable parameters.
if you are a more particular client and you stop us repeatedly during a session it will end up costing you more as it is prolonging the artists time in the chair as well as yours, so this will be billed accordingly at 175 an hour.
Quality is key and you get what you pay for. Our shop prides our-self on quality and we don’t shortcut anything, even in regards to our setup. We are completely disposable here and there are plenty of people tattooing out there that will tattoo you cheap, shortcut the process and materials used. We see a lot of tattoos and do cover-ups which in the end costs the client double. Also we have no reservations about working within your budget to accommodate your sessions. Talk to your artist about what you can afford and we can segment the sessions to meet your financial needs.
Our Shop does have a 1 hour ($175) minimum, so if you want a fairly small tattoo, possibly consider a few more that could be done to maximize your hour of tattoo time.
We provide our clients here at Malicious Ink with locally made after care! Once you arrive to the studio you will receive your aftercare kit as well as your aftercare link for further information needed rolling your session. It should answer any questions you may have. But no need to purchase anything unless you have an allergy to nuts.
Complementary touchups are only done within a six month period or at minimum, requested within 6 months. Once you book your complementary touchup session it is important that you make your appointment for it to remain complimentary. If you cancel your complimentary session the next session will not be complementary and you will have to pay what ever the hourly rate is for your touchup. Any requests beyond the 6 months is considered as a tattoo re-fresh and will be quoted at the hourly rate.
Tipping isn’t required but greatly appreciated. Tipping let’s your artist know that you appreciated the work that you received and that you were happy with the outcome! Some artists rate their client happiness based on how they tip just like when you eat at restaurant.
Well, that’s a loaded question in Washington…We recommend getting your tattoo in the fall or winter, since summer is harsh for healing (without proper precautions) fresh tattoos. Not only can sun affect healing, but it can prohibit you from tanning, swimming, hot tubs etc…You are always welcome to take extra precautions if you prefer summer time for getting your tattoo. We are more than happy to provide any help and advice to ensure your tattoo has the best outcome.
Everyone has a different tolerance for pain. It may vary from not being too uncomfortable to feeling like a sunburn. It does hurt, just not that much. Also placement plays a large role as well. Some areas are more sensitive than others. So be sure to talk to your artist about that if you are typically sensitive. Some compare the feeling to a bad sunburn. To be frank…people would not be returning again and again covered in tattoos if it hurt that bad. Most people don’t like being uncomfortable or in pain, but the end result far supersedes the short discomfort. There is also a certain pride that comes with earning your stripes so to speak with tattoos.
We also offer numbing gel upon request. It requires 48 HOUR NOTICE and is complimentary .
No. In Washington state you legally have to be 18 years of age to get a tattoo. Even if you have parental approval, it is illegal. You should be extremely wary of anyone who is willing to do so.
